Somali Boxing Federation General Secretary, Abdirahman Ali Mire, who is with the team in Gabon, was very jubilant that Somalia has for the first time stormed into the final of this great African event.
“I am very proud that our men have now qualified for the final and I am confident that they can make it to win gold medals. We have reached this higher point without any governmental assistance. I hope Somali government will play its role in promoting the boxing game which is munch interested amongst Somali people” Mr Mire said.
